Membership in ICOSPA is open to the national trade associations representing metalforming industries in any industrial country. ICOSPA-member association may be organized differently, depending on common association practices in the country. Some ICOSPA members are trade associations in which the membership consists only of company members. Others may include both company and individual memberships. Still others may be federations of associations representing various segments of the metalforming industry.
The common bond of all ICOSPA-member associations is that they are the leading organizations in their home country for the metalforming industry - including processes such as metal stamping, metal spinning, roll forming, slide forming and precision sheet metal fabrication.

Founded on March 2, 1900, GIMEF is the association for metal stamping, fabricating, metal spinning and tooling industries in France. Primary markets include the automotive, aeronautic, electronic, telecommunications, agriculture, appliance and precision equipment industries.
GIMEF is one of the members of FIM (Federation of the French Mechanical industries). The key role and mission of GIMEF are to provide assistance in the understanding of the market evolutions, training, exchange of information, communication between the members, legal and financial fields. It is also to ensure technical work in co-operation with CETIM (French Technical Center of Mechanical industries) through executive commissions and presence in trade shows.
IBU has been representing the interests of the German sheet metalforming industry since 1934 until 1995 under the name "Fachverband Pressen, Ziehen, Stanzen" (association of pressing, drawing and stamping trades).
Our members make things from sheet metal via: stamping, precision and fine blanking, laser and water cutting, bending, combined cutting and bending, drawing, deep drawing, hydroforming, pressing assembly into modules and systems.

Japan Metal Stamping Association supports various efforts to be promoted by its members, such as enhancement of management infrastructure, improvement in technology, making high value-added stamped products, establishment of safe operation, support to internationalization and globalization, training engineers, and is actively developing many services to realize advanced metal stamping.
The Nederlandse Vereniging Algemene Toelevering (NEVAT) (Dutch Association of Subcontracting Industries) is the most important network for industrial subcontractors in the Netherlands. As a branch organisation with about 280 members, Nevat is the spokesman for the Dutch subcontracting industry, a platform for exchanging knowledge and experience and an indispensable source of knowledge for suppliers and outsourcers at home and abroad.
